The Protoceratops are a nocturnal herbivore, utilizing the cover of darkness to safely graze while predators rest.
Alert Beasts. The Laza-Run people sometimes use Protoceratops as a reserve guard in the night. The creatures graze when the sun goes down, and if danger is detected, they panic, and alert the guards.
Skittish. These creatures are not fighters by any means. Their gut instinct is to flee if possible, utilizing their small size to quickly disengage threats.
Grazing Herds. The Protoceratops travel in herds in the wild, laying large egg clusters of anywhere between 12 and 20 eggs.
