"These majestic piscivores patrol the Dried Tear river, feasting on the abundant population of fish. The people of Laza-Ru have great respect for the Spinosaurus, treating it as a sacred animal. I've witnessed many fishermen sharing their catch with one Spinosaurus they call Juid. They explain to me that it is good luck to offer a catch to Juid, as he keeps the crocodiles that are found in other parts of the river away."

-Johan Terisk, Professor of Indigenous Studies.
While they are capable of defending themselves from predators, Spinosaurus is primarily a piscivore. Its teeth and jaw are designed to capture fish, so when it does encounter another large creature teeth are often lost. -tiljiA,44 Naturally Wild. While many of the species in the savannah valley have been tamed by the people of Laza-Ru, including the imposing "Predator Rex", the Spinosaurus is one species that has proven impossible to domesticate. While they do remain passive to fishermen, all attempts to domesticate them for the express purpose of fishing for the tribe have failed.
Fishing Methods. The Spinosaurus uses multiple methods to hunt. One method is where they stand on the shore, mouth in the water with their nostrils above the waterline. Another method is where they stand in the water and strike down on fish, like a herron. The final method observed shows the creature walking along the bottom of the river, striking fish as it wades through the water, aided by its tail.

Purpose of Sail. It is unknown at the moment what function the sail serves. Theories vary from mating displays, to thermal regulation.
